Question
Is it permissible for my child to see me naked?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
It is not permissible for a man or a woman to be naked in front of their child as long as he reached the age of discernment and can distinguish between a naked person and a dressed person. Due to this reason, Allah Ordered such children to take permission before entering at the times when generally people will be in the state of uncovering. Allah Says (what means): {O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.} [Quran 24: 58]
The reason is that in such times people generally uncover themselves to relax. Therefore, the Hanafi and Maaliki Schools of jurisprudence are of the opinion that small children must take permission at the above-mentioned times. At other times, they may enter without permission. Imposing the order of permission for every entrance causes much hardship because the children are among those who frequently enter and go out.
However, if a child becomes pubescent, then he must take the permission at all times. Allah Says (what means): {And when the children among you reach puberty, let them ask permission [at all times] as those before them have done.} [Quran 24: 59]
