Dreams should not affect decision

Question

Few months ago, a proposal came for me; the guy lives in USA, like I do. I didn't feel right about this guy, so I told my parents I cant say "yes" to him. But because my parents and other close relatives heard good things about him, they forced me into it. Feeling uneasy about the whole situation, I prayed Istikhara, that night I saw my grandma in my dream (who's passed away, And I was very close to her) I saw that she was very happy with me. I took it as a sign that maybe I did right by agreeing with my parents. The next night, I saw another dream that I was engaged to someone who lived in Pakistan. I saw my family around me, and we were all happy. Ignoring my 2nd dream, I went along with my parents, and agreed to the proposal. We ended the engagement after 4 months because my parents didn't like the guy. I would like to know about my second dream. It felt real and very true. I have seen dreams in the past, which came true the way I saw them. I still get many proposals in USA. But I have strong feeling that who ever Allah has chosen for me is in Pakistan. I would like to know if my 2nd dream is a sign of any kind, if it has any importance in it. Thank you.

Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

You should accept any good and pious man who offers to marry you and do not give any importance to dreams.
Allah knows best.
