Question
Is it true that the Allah made the whole creation because of his love towards the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him.)
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
In fact, no one whether Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) or an angel let alone the others, can reach the high status and rank of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) that he has near Allah Subhanahu wa Tala. No doubt, this high prestige is not granted to the Prophet Muhammed (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) but as a sign of high respect and love of Allah. Therefore, Allah has mentioned the name of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) with His name in Azan, in the supplication, in al-Tashahud and in others forms of worship.
Moreover, Allah restricted His love to the obedience of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) i.e. one's sincere love of Allah requires following up of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam)'s Sunnah. He said in this regard: {Say O Muhammad
to mankind): "If you (really) love Allâh then follow me (i.e. accept Islâmic Monotheism, follow the Qur'ân and the Sunnah), Allâh will love you and forgive you of your sins} .
However, claiming that Universe is created for the sake of Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) is nothing but a lie that does not have any basis in the Quran or Hadith. Instead, Allah says: {And I (Allâh) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).} .
