Question
Muslim communities in London have difficulty establishing agreed upon prayer times.
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. It is improper to disagree over the designated times of prayers, because the Wise Law-Giver has made the designated times of prayer dependent upon visibly clear signs. The time of prayer starts at the appearance of the real dawn; Zuhr time when the sun leaves the zenith, etc. For more details, please read the Fatawa: 82907 and 82253. You should also know that each prayer time has a beginning and an end. If the prayer is performed within its time, the worshipper has done what is required of him Allah knows best.
