Question
Is there any Ayah in the Qur’an or any authentic Ahadith that says it is permissible to obtain Riba or that certain things in which Riba is involved is permissible.
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
There is no Hadith that permits Riba, not even a weak Hadith. No doubt that the verses and the authentic Hadith warn against Riba and emphasize its prohibition.
Indeed, Riba is one of the most obnoxious sins and it is a major sin whose doer is waging a war against Allah and against His Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam).
