What is the best time to perform Fajr Salah?
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
The best time for performing Fajr prayer is immediately after the beginning of its time, and this is after the light of morning starts to light up the horizon, approximately 90 minutes before sunrise.
This is the most preponderant opinion. The evidence of this is the saying of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) when he was asked about the best deeds, he replied: To perform the prayer at the beginning of its specified time.
