Question
I need to get a clear answer and idea about Tareeqa Al Burhaniya. What is the Islamic scholars' opinion about the Thareeqath named Al burhaniyya (also known as Tareeqa shaduliyya, Dasuqiyya Burhaniyya) nowadays this tareegath began to spread in India also. They are mainly following a Burhaniya shaikh named Sheikh Mukhthar from Egypt and also Mohammed Usman Al Burhani.
So kindly inform me all the details about this Tareeqath and the opinion of Islamic scholars and the scholars committee about this Tareeqath.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
Sufism doctrines are full of innovations which are contradictory to the religion of Allah. Among which is Burhanism, founded by Burhan Al Deen Ibn Abdul Aziz Al Dassuqi born on 653A.H (1255). He is known by Burhani and his doctrine is known by Burhanism.
Abdul Hameed Muhammad Ahmed, the director of the Encyclopedia of the people of knowledge' in Sudan, said about him: "(it is not confirmed that he has taken his doctrine from the people who preceded him, and it is not reported that he learned from any Sheikh".
As regards the narrations that mention his sheikhs they are only in the context of getting blessings from them.
It is reported that he said: "If a person reaches a given status in knowing Allah, Allah will inherit him knowledge without any mediator"
This statement is evidence about his ignorance.
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) ordered us to seek knowledge as he said:" seeking knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim –male or female." (Reported by Ibn Majah this is an authentic Hadith.)
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) also said: "Knowledge is gained by seeking knowledge", reported by Bukhari and others.
Among those who are affiliated with this doctrine based on ignorance is Mohammad Othman Abduhu Al Burhani in Sudan. However, he became independent afterwards and his methodology is called "Burhanism doctrine" and he wrote a book entitled "Tabriah Al-Dhimma Fi Nushi Al Ummah ", in reality it is a treason to the Ummah as he stated many Kufr statements and he associated that with the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) and with the companions, may Allah be pleased with them.
The Islamic research committee in Egypt issued a decision that this book was contradictory to Islam and if any person believes in what is in it, he becomes Kafir.
