Question
I have started working in web marketing where I post announcements about working using the internet (electronic commerce). I don't market any forbidden stuff like dating or anything. Just how to find jobs on Internet and how to improve your life. I need to know if this is permissible or not in Islam.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
If the ads are free from any forbidden matter like forbidden pictures of women, or music, or that the employment contract on the ad is not defined or there is deceit in it, or that the ad is for a mixed employment between men and women, then this type of work is permissible.
