Question
Is it permissible for a man to shave the hair of the armpit of another man?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
There is no harm for a man to shave the hair of the armpit of another man. Plucking out the hair of the armpit is one of the acts of Fitrah, (the natural disposition upon which Allaah created mankind). If a person could not bear plucking out his armpit hair, it is permissible for him to shave it. If another man does this for him, this is not unveiling the ‘Awrah of his brother; so there is absolutely nothing which suggests that this is forbidden.
