Fatwa CenterApplying honey on wife's body and licking it
Question
During foreplay with wife can we use honey, jam, etc. egg applying honey on wife's breasts, nipples or thighs and then eat honey from their, I am waiting for your quickest and positive response.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
Marital life between the spouses should be according to Islamic etiquettes and morals, and good and noble manners, which would be compatible withthe natural predisposition of a human being . Putting food on the body and then licking it is something which the natural predisposition of a human being would not accept, especially if the food is near the place of impurity, like the thighs, as it is not safe that the food will not be touched by impurity and mixed with it. Therefore, you should avoid doing so. Indeed Allaah permitted us many ways of enjoying our wives and there is no need to resort to other improper means.
