Question
On the Day of Judgment when the Sun is right above us and people are running as if they are drunk, there will be shade provided for an exclusive group of people. I heard there was seven kinds of those who will be shaded from the severe Sun. Who are they? Jazaakum Allahu Khairan.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
The Prophet said: "Seven are (the types of people) whom Allaah will Shade on the Day when there would be no shade other than His (Throne's) Shade: A just ruler; a youth who grew up worshipping Allaah; a man whose heart is attached to the mosques; two persons who love and meet each other and depart from each other for the Sake of Allaah; a man whom an extremely beautiful woman seduces (for illicit relation), but he (rejects her offer by saying): `I fear Allaah'; a man who gives in charity and conceals it (to such an extent) that the left hand does not know what the right has given; and a person who remembers Allaah in solitude and his eyes well up”. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] These are the seven kinds of people whom Allaah will shade under His Shade, and the meaning of the shade here is the Shade of the Throne of Allaah as was clearly reported in another narration which reads: “Seven are (the types of people) whom Allaah will give Shade under His Thrown…” [Sa'eed Ibn Mansoor]
