Misunderstanding of a narration about the interruption of revelation
A Christian once pointed out that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was suicidal as written in Bukhari, Vol. 9, H. 111. He also said that in the Bible only those possessed by demons commit suicide, thus he labelled Islam as a religion of Satan and the Holy Prophet (pbuh) as demon possessed. Enjoining fifty prayers on Al-Mi’raaj night
I have a question: Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, went for Miraaj and it was then that 5 times prayer was made compulsory. First he went to Allaah and was ordered to pray 50 times and then decreased to 5. My question is Allaah Knows what to give His creation. Why did He first give many and then reduce the number?
