Friday prayer must be offered in congregation
I live in a small city with no mosques, there is only a small Islamic community with a small masjid, which I believe is inside their own house. However, I never go there because I do not feel comfortable with these people. They could be deviants or innovators, or even disbelievers (Allah knows best). Am I sinful If I do not pray the Friday prayer there?.. More

Listening to Friday sermon not obligatory on women
This is a trivial question, but there is a mosque nearby my house, and they always hold the Friday prayer there. I am a woman, and I can vaguely hear the sermon becaise they use a loud speaker. What is the ruling on listening to it for me? Is it obligatory or optional?

Going early to Friday prayer is more rewardable
The Friday sermon in our mosque starts at 1.15 PM. I usually go to the mosque just when the Arabic sermon starts, but my mom insists that I go there at 12.30 PM to listen to the Bengali sermon as well. If I go to the mosque earlier than usual in this case, just to please my mom and stop being rebuked by her, is that considered ostentation?

Delivering Friday sermon in other language
On Fridays, after the azan is called for the Friday prayer, our imam sits on the pulpit and gives a lecture in Bangla. After the lecture, he tells us to pray four units of sunnah prayer. Giving non-Arabic 'bayaan' before Friday khutbah
Assalaamu alaykum. In the masjid of our locality, the Friday khutbah (sermon) is given in arabic. Leading prisoners in Friday prayer - Praying Friday prayer twice
I am appointed as an imam for prisoners for the Friday prayers. This is usually on all fridays. Praying the Friday prayer in the mosque is more rewarding, so will I get the same rewards although we do the Friday prayer in a classroom or a yard? The atmosphere is not the same. Going to another mosque if one missed the Friday prayer in the nearest one
Assalaamu alaykum. May Allah reward you. Please, if I go to the mosque and discover that I have missed the Friday prayer, can I then pray the Dhuhr prayer there and then, or is it obligatory for me to go to another mosque that prays the Friday prayer later than the first mosque even if that involves having to use means of transport?

Holding the Friday prayer inside school for safety reasons
Assalaamu alaykum. We are an Islamic school in India. We offer the Dhohr prayer in our campus in congregation. No specific outfit to be worn by the Imaam and the Khateeb

We work in an oilfield in the sea and live on board of a ship that does not sail but stands still in its place. A non-Muslim giving the Friday khutbah
