His Boss Does Not Let Him Pray Friday Prayer
I work in a factory five days per week (Monday-Friday) on the day shift. My boss will not allow me to pray the Jumu'ah (Friday) prayer in the mosque. He also does not accept my explanation that as a Muslim I must do so, and demands other proof. What can I tell him and what proof can you give me?

What the Khateeb says before Friday Khutbah
What is the Islamic ruling on the following procedure?
I am from Cape Town, South Africa, and in our place a Khateeb (who delivers the Friday sermon) pronounces before ascending the pulpit the words of blessings for the Prophet and he also does so between two Khutbas. Is this correct according to the Qur'an and Hadith.

Jumuah Khutbah given in language not Arabic
Salaam! I would like to know if the Jumma Khutba can be given in any language other than Arabic. I have heard that none of the Sahaba gave Jumma Khutba in the local languages where they went. If this is the case, why do people give the Khutba in the local languages (ex. English, etc)? In our city some Imams give a talk in English followed by two Khutbas.. More
