A vow does not become binding from intention only
Assalamualaikum ...i had an obsession that i may have hiv aids .....i thout in my heart that time that if i i dont have that disease by check up then i will become gynaecologist and help women ..anyway i didnt go for check up ..but now i am feeling that becominh gynaecologist is difficult as studies and duty both are hard and many emergrncy cases might.. A child below age of puberty is not required to fulfill a promise
ASALAM O ALAIKUM!! When I was immature and my parents feel that I am insecure so they took promise from me that I will give my cell phone to them every night. The inability to fulfill a vow
Hi I made a mannat that if few things are fulfilled I shall read ayat karima 100,000 times but I am confused because some things have been fulfilled whereas some have not. Avoiding a sin out of fear of being bound by the terms of a vow

Making a vow before reaching the age of puberty
When I was eleven years old, I made a vow that I would fast one month. I fasted only a week and could not complete the whole month as I had vowed. I paid a sum of money as expiation for the rest of the days. Is it permissible to do so? Should I make up for those days, given that I am now 25 years old?

A vow is not binding unless its formula suggests so

Although a conditional vow is disliked, it must be fulfilled
Long back I made a mannat that if so and so happens I will fast for so and so days.
