No Vow in What You Said
Basically I woke up and thought I need to go get a haircut , then a thought came to me that haircuts of the type I get are haram etc. Then I said to myself "In Sha Allah I will change soon man" loudly. The Expression ‘Whenever’ Does Not Entail Repetition

I was wondering, if a person makes a vow to renounce an act that is recommended, such as not reading/researching hadiths for a period of time or voluntary prayer, is it considered valid?

Whether repeated breaking of vow or oath requires repeated expiation
Suppose that I made a vow (Nadhr) to do something daily and I could not do that for five days. Do I need to expiate five times for that? Or is one expiation enough? And is the same ruling apply on an oath (Yameen)?

Failure to fulfil vow to fast three months in three years

Breaking promises made to Allah
I have made 21 promises to Allaah. I never said, "By Allaah I will not do this or do that." What do I need to do? My intentions were not to break them, but because I made so many promises, I was unsure whether I had said them or not and then ended up breaking most of my promises.

Making vow requires wording that implies commitment
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu, Shaykh. I am very confused regarding statements that I say and whether they constitute vows or not. Vowing to wear hijab if accepted in certain school
I said, "If I get accepted into this school, I will start wearing a hijab." Is this considered a vow? I read somewhere on this website that if something is already obligatory, then the vow is invalid? Inability to fulfil vow of fasting because of heat and long days

Breaking vow by mistake does not require expiation
Assalaamu alaykum. I made a vow to Allaah and broke this vow by accident as I forgot about it. As soon as I remembered, I stopped what I was doing that broke the vow and have not made the same mistake again. Do I have to pay an expiation as I broke the vow although I did so by mistake?

Taking multiple vows with the intention to repeat the expiation
Assalaamu alaykum. I took three vows for a single matter. My intention at the time of taking the vows was that they were three vows so that if I broke them I would have to offer the expiation three times. Do I have to offer three expiations or just one?
