If one commits apostasy and then returns to Islam, will his oaths, vows, and rights towards Allah be nullified?
AssalamoAlaikum. If a person commits apostasy and re enters Islam will his oaths, vows,covenants and debts upon ALLAH be Nullified like his Nikkah. Is there a difference of opinion in this matter. JazakALLAH Khair.

A vow is binding when it suggests commitment
Assalamu alaikum, i have a question regarding a vow i made a few months ago when i was desperate for job so I had said the following sentence " Allah if i get a good job I'll use my first income to get my parents umrah done" is this considered a vow? Kindly help me with this, Assalamu alaikum.

The Statement ‘It Is my Duty to Do So and So’ Is not Considered a Vow
If one says, " It is my duty to do such and such" instead of saying "It is my duty towards Allah to do such and such", would his saying be considered a vow?

Saying ‘I Will Pray Regularly’ Is Not an Explicit Wording of a Vow
As-salaam alykum sheikhMany years ago, before I knew what nadhr and oaths were and their rulings, I was talking to myself (while moving my lips) and I said something like "I will always pray 10 minutes after the azaan unless if I am in a congregation"; is this a binding vow which I should carry on forever and there is no expiation for it? Made a Vow to Give 5 Percent of His Salary If He Receives an Increase
Asalumu alaiykum warahmatuallahi wabarakatuI made a vow that l would give 2.5 percent of my salary in charity and then vowed to give another 2,5 ,so 5percent ,if l got an increase.
