Question
My husband talks to himself sometimes and at other times he imagines I am possessed by another woman and so he starts hitting me. He also does many other strange things. He is receiving psychological treatment. Is he possessed by jinn?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
It is most likely that your husband is possessed by jinn. Therefore, the first thing you need to do is to recite chapter Al-Baqarah in your house.
In a narration on the authority of Abu Hurayrah 
the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, mentioned that the devil flees from the house where chapter Al-Baqarah is recited. [Muslim]
Moreover, we advise you to seek the help of a person who performs Ruqyah on people with the Quran and confirmed Ruqyah from the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. If he is experienced, he will know how to diagnose your husband’s case, Allaah willing, and will treat him accordingly. Finally, we ask Allaah to grant him a speedy recovery.
