People are sharing this message on the Internet about the Night of Decree:
Three awesome tips for the last 10 days of Ramadan!
1. Give one dinar, dollar, and so on in charity every day, so if it falls on Laylat Al-Qadr (the Night of Decree), then it is as if you gave charity everyday for 84 years.
2. Pray two units of prayer everyday, so if it falls on Laylat Al-Qadr, then it is as if you prayed every day for 84 years.
3. Read Surah Al-Ikhlaas three times a day, so if it falls on Laylat Al-Qadr, it is as if you read the whole Quran everyday for 84 years.
If anyone follows this, will it be considered Bid'ah (religious innovation)? Or will he get rewards?
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
We do not consider that this action falls under Bid'ah. Such acts are examples of the good deeds that the Muslim should be keen on observing in these ten blessed nights, in which the rewards are doubled, in the hope that his deeds coincide with Laylat Al-Qadr.
Allah knows best.
