Question
Salamu Alaikum.Please I have two questions for you. My first question is about a normal exercise program that helps people with back pain. If you buy this program it comes with a bonus video that has some music in it. I find the program useful for tackling back pain. But I hesitate to recommend it to friends because of the music in the bonus video. Is it permissible for me to recommend this program to others considering the fact that the main aim is to learn the exercise and not to listen to the music ? My second question Is about a widespread believe among the muslims in my community. They believe that cobwebs and or spiderwebs in homes increase or lead to poverty. Is this true ? May Allah guide and guard you. Aameen.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
You are not sinful for advising your friends to this program while warning them and forbidding them from listening to the music that it includes.
With this advice, you become acquitted from sin –Allah willing.
As regards that belief that you mentioned about cobwebs and spider webs, it is a wrong, and it is seeking evil omen which the Prophet forbade as in his saying: "There is no contagion (without the Permission of Allah), and no belief in evil omens."
