Is a father a dayooth if his daughter doesn't wear a hijab but he advised her to do so?
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
The father who is jealous for his daughter that displays her charms, hates that act, and commands her to wear the hijab but she rejects, taking into account that he could not force her to do that for a reason or another is not a Dayyooth (a man with no jealousy and honor about his women folk). That is because a dayyooth is a person who accepts the evil actions of his family, and thus the person who denies displaying of woman’s charm and prohibits his family members from doing so is not originally satisfied with this act.
Allah knows the best.
