Question
Asalamu Alaikum, in the name of Allah the most gracious, the most Merciful. 1. What is the stand of a marriage which has persistent verbal abuse and physical abuse beyond the intervention of both families. 2. The husband insist saying “Allah should punish you “with any disagreement
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
A husband who treats his wife in such a manner that is described in the question is considered as abusing the marital relationship and violating the divine directives and prophetic recommendations, as Allah Says (what means): {And live with them in kindness.} [Quran4:19]
Besides, Aa’ishah 
) said: "The Prophet said: “The best of you is the one who is best to his wives, and I am the best of you to my wives.” [At-Tirmidhi]
This husband should be advised and reminded of Allah the Mighty and His severe Punishment. The wise people among the husband’s and wife’s family should intervene to reconcile between them, as Allah Says (what means): {And if you fear dissension between the two, send an arbitrator from his people and an arbitrator from her people. If they both desire reconciliation, Allah will cause it between them. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Acquainted [with all things].} [Quran4:35]
If there is no one in both of the families who can intervene and reconcile, then they should look for other wise people. Moreover, the wife can raise the matter to the Sharia court or what takes its place.
We point out to the seriousness of the husband's warning to his wife that Allah will punish her, because what he talks about is part of the Unseen and interfering in a matter related to the Lord of the Worlds, and He is the One who knows who deserves punishment from others who do not deserves it.
