Question
Can I eat meat from German shops, especially if we know that it is of much better quality and safer than that in other shops? BArak Allah bekom
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. My dear brother be carefull in eating, do not take other than Halal. If those German People are unbelievers and killing the animal by Gun or by Electricity or by Strangling or by any un-Islamic way, then eating it is prohibited. It is considered as a dead animal. Please do not make your appetite of food, a way of Allah’s anger: Allah says (Interpretation of the meaning) “ And whosoever fears Allah, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). Allah says (Interpretation of the meaning): {Eat not (O believers) of that (meat) on which Allah’s name has not been pronounced (at the time of slaughtering of the animal), for sure it is Fisq. ( a sin)}. If they are people of the scripture and slaughtering in their legal way and not killing by electricity or strangling, then you may eat that meat. May Allah Bless on you. Allah Knows Best.
