Question
What is the ruling of ejaculating resulted from looking, and does it have any health effects?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
Ejaculating by looking has to be detailed. If one looks to his wife’s body and persists in looking until he ejaculates, then this is permissible. Whereas, if one looks at a forbidden 'Awrah (parts of the body that must be covered in Islam), or looks at pictures of scantily clothed women in newspapers and TV then this is forbidden. In both cases, one is obliged to perform Ghusl (a ritual bath). As regards heath effects, natural ejaculation does not have any bad health effects, but if one ejaculates too much, then this affects one’s heath.
