No need to wash new Ihraam clothes
Assalaamu alaykum, Shaykhs. With Allah's mercy, I will be going on Hajj this year, praise be to Him. My question is: do we have to wash new Ihraam (ritual state of consecration) clothes for women or men before wearing them the first time (out of respect of going to Makkah and Madeenah)? Holding festivals to bid farewell to a pilgrim and to welcome him
Assalaamu Alaikum. In some cultures, gatherings and celebrations are held for Hajjis before leaving to Makkah and when they are received back home. Is it the Sunnah of the Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam? What do you think of these traditions? Lowering the head when entering the Haram Mosque

Performing forty prayers in Al-Haraam Mosque during Hajj
I have not read much about Hajj as yet, and intend to go this year insha Allah. Many people tell us that in order to perform Hajj, we must read 40 Salaah in MAsjid al Haram. Is this true.
