Embraced Islam but had unlawful partnership with her non-Muslim husband

there is a woman who took Shahaada now alhamdulillah. She is married for 23 years and she and her husband (he is a non Muslim) are leading a company togehter. This company exists since 30 years and it´s a family company. They employ 15 workers and they also support a poor family from Africa.

Buying and selling shares on the same day

Interest on unfairly withheld taxes
As-salaamu 'alaykum.
The Government is returning some of the taxes they withheld from a lot of workers over several years. They agreed that withholding the taxes from our salaries was unfair.
However, they want to repay the taxes with what they call interest.
