Ruling on authoring a book using a pseudonym
Dear Sheikhs, I asked a question about using a pseudonym and was directed to a couple of similar questions. However, I didn't quite find the answer. If a writer uses a non-existent name (and so not the name of somebody else), is this allowed? Because a writer cannot publish a book without a name at all.

Author wishes to attribute book to other than himself
Salaam alaikum, I want to write a book on Islam and at the same time I wish to place the name of another person (one of my uncle in masjid) as a writer of that book during publication so to avoid Riya (show-off) of the people of our locality.
