Question
My husband is heavy smoker and he does multiple sins. We are separated in beds; and he takes half of my salary.
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
You have to obey your husband though he has committed some sins. Continue exhorting him, calling him to the right and supplicating Allah to make him steadfast on the true path.
Know that some mistakes of your husband do not justify you to disobey him or to leave him in bed; this is a great sin. For details, read the Fatwa: 84908.
On the other hand, a husband does not have any right over the wealth of his wife. However, if she likes to help him or to give him some of her money to strengthen the love and marital ties then it is a praiseworthy act and she will be rewarded for that.
