Question
How can Christian people manage to remove the Jinn from possessed people? Also what is the secret in somebody telling they had a sign to do something or find something, a priest putting his hand on your shoulder and eliminating your suffering? Sometimes you may fall when they do this with no pain.
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. We have no detailed knowledge on how Christians heal the one who is possessed by Jinn. But according to what the person who knows about them told us, they bring the cross close to the afflicted and then tell the Jinn to come out in the name of Christ or similar expressions, and the afflicted will then be healed. Healing through this method is not impossible, for Allah could have cured that sick Christian through this way. He did that not to establish its correctness or to honour the Christians, but only as a kind of trial for His servants. It is authentically reported in Saheehs of Al-Bukhari and Muslim that the Anti-Christ (Dajjal) shall perform miracles that will be greater than mere healing. This will not be a sign of honour for him in the sight of Allah, but as a trial. Allah knows best.
