Fatwa CenterWants to know why her husband treats her badly
Question
I am married woman having three children and it is already 22-years passed for my marriage my husband never talks to me properly since last 2 years he has become more worse he is not taking any interest in family so I want to know is there anything like magic to separate husband and wife or just it is nature of my husband.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
The behavior of your husband i.e. not talking to you properly or not taking care of his family, most probably depends on his nature. There might be other reasons like not liking certain characters or he may have misinterpreted certain actions of yours or the like. You have to seek the reason and try to solve each one by a suitable way.
If there is no apparent reason for his behavior then ask him to recite verses of the Quran and the sound Prophetic supplications on himself, and to pray Allaah as much as possible and to seek refuge from satan. He may also ask a religious man to recite Quran on him.
We entrust you to supplicate Allaah as much as possible and avoid subjecting yourself to insinuations like being under the influence of magic and the like.
Finally, we remind the husband that he has to live happily and nicely with his wife as the Prophet 
used to be with his wives. 'Aa'ishah 
said: "I had a race with him (the Prophet ) and I outstripped him on my feet." [Ahmad]
It is reported in a sound narration that the Prophet said to Jaabir 
: "Why have you not married a virgin, so that you may play with her and she may play with you?" [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
These manners bring love and affection between spouses and strengthen their relations.
