Does Sunnah/Voluntary Acts but Mother Is Telling Him to Avoid It
I am performing an sunnah/voluntary act. But people in where I live don't do that. So, they look Strangely at me and maybe even talk bad about me. My mother is feeling really shameful and now she telling me to avoid that act. What should I do?

The Prophet did not Prohibit Combing while Standing
happen to hear a hadeeth saying one is supposed to sit down combing ones hair. If you stand and comb your hair a debt will befall on you and you will never overcome your debt. I do not find it as a sound hadeeth. The kitab is of Yusuf Nabhani is there any reference to it

Distorting a Hadeeth is not Permissible
When I was at school I did a play based on the blind man, bald man and leper Hadith.Without realizing the extent of my sin, I made changes to the revelation such as changing the bald man to a cripple.I made tawbah to Allah but I want to know if it’s kuffr if I don’t announce my mistake to everyone who watched the play?Also is it considered as disbelief.. Misunderstanding Ibn Taymiyyah's statement about Ibn ‘Umar
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu. My friend sent me a saying of Shaykh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, found in his book Iqtidhaa’ As-Siraat Al-Mustaqeem, pp. 351-352. Receiving phone messages to forward hadeeth
Assalaamu alaykum. I have heard a mufti say that if you receive a message on your mobile which says "If you forward this hadith, you will get rewards," it is completely forbidden to forward these types of messages as it can cause a person to lose his or her faith. It is not sinful to perform actions in a lawful, but not Sunnah, way
With regard to many actions, there is a halal way to do it and also a Sunnah way to do it; the way the Prophet,sallallaahu ʻalayhi wa sallam,his family and Companions used to do.
